The proposed roof light in the side roof slope of the proposed side extension would not be obscure-glazed and the proposed developement would therefore also be contrary to condition C2 of Class C, Part 1, Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended).

The additional roof volume created by the proposed dormer extension and the proposed single storey side extension combined would exceed the maxmium permitted additional roof space of 50 cubic metres set out in Paragraph D of Class B, Part 1, Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) and the propsoal would therefore not amount to permitted development.
