The proposed single storey rear extension would have an unacceptable impact upon the amenities of a nearby neighbouring property by reason of loss of outlook an overbearing impact upon a habitable room window of number 86 Barrow Road, and upon the outside amenity space of the same property. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies CS2 of the Charnwood Local Plan 2011 - 2028 Core Strategy, H/17 of the Borough of Charnwood Local Plan (12th January 2004) and G2 of the Sileby Neighbourhood Plan. Furthermore, the development would be contrary with the Design Supplementary Planning Document.
