The Borough Council is of the opinion that, due to the site's proximity to residential properties, a record of previous complaints relating to noise and non-adherence to authorised opening hours, the proposal is likely to lead to further unacceptable reduction of the residential amenities of nearby occupiers. In the absence of an independent acoustic assessment to demonstrate otherise the Borough Council considers that the proposal conflicts with Policy CS2 of the Charnwood Local Plan 2011-1028 Core Strategy and Policy EV/1 of the Borough of Charnwood Local Plan and the relevant provisions of the National Planning Policy Framework.
