The proposal lacks adequate off-street parking provision to cater for the volume of parking demand likely to be generated by a 4-bedroom dwelling and would thereby lead to additional parking on Dickinson Way, close to the junction with Church Hill Road, to the detriment of highway safety and residential amenity. The proposal would thereby be contrary to Policy TR/6 of the Borough of Charnwood Local Plan.
