The proposal involves development which would be wholly within the reserved area of the A6 Loughborough Inner Relief Road and, therefore, highly likely to affect the proposed route of this road which is identified in Transport Policy 3 of the Leicestershire Structure Plan, Policy TR/4 of the Loughborough Local Plan and Policy TR/2 of the Deposit Draft Borough of Charnwood Local Plan as a programmed road scheme. The proposal is, therefore, contrary to Transport Policy 11 of the Leicestershire Structure Plan and Policy TR/4 of the Loughborough Local Plan, Accessibility, which comprise the development plan and Transport Policy 11 of the Deposit Draft Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Structure Plan and Policy TR/2 of the Deposit Draft Borough of Charnwood Local Plan which all seek to safeguard the proposed route from other development.
